About our Principal Trainer
Located in the beautiful state of NSW, Australia, the founder and principal trainer at Me Skilled Pty Ltd is Shankar Shridhar. Shankar has completed B.Sc (Honors) in Chemistry & B. Engineering in Metallurgy. He is a qualified trainer with Certificate IV in Workplace Assessments & training, and current registered Lead Auditor for ISO 9001 & the automotive industry Standard IATF 16949. Prior to entering the certification & training industry, he has held senior managerial positions in the automotive industry. With over 26 years of hands-on experience in quality management consulting, training & auditing in diverse countries besides Australia, such as New Zealand, USA, and Indo-Asian Countries since 1995, Shankar continues to perform 3rd party audits on behalf of Certification Bodies such as LRQA Australia, Smithers Quality Assessments USA & RINA, Italy. This is undoubtedly the most comprehensive course in the market! This training is a 'hybrid course' consisting of both online self learning modules covering QMS processes, ISO 9001 & IATF 16949 and, remote training or onsite training delivered by a trainer, covering the core tools for internal auditors and process based automotive audits. The latter training includes training on process mapping (a preamble to preparation of process based audit checklists), learning about key customer specific requirements, learning how to plan audits based on products, manufacturing processes and quality system processes, analyze risks in processes for prioritization during audits, conduct audits using FMEA and Control Plans, identify nonconformities linking them back to process weaknesses, and how to take corrective actions for containment and systemic improvements.
